3D-printed sustainable housing
Silva Villas
Robot-printed homes from a wood-fibre biocomposite, configured online.
Silva Villas designs and robot-prints homes from Silco7, a wood-fibre biocomposite made from plant-based residual streams and recycled polymers, designed for dry assembly.
Customers configure one of six product lines online — from caregiver housing and compact living to guest, work and commercial spaces. The order flows directly into production in IJsselstein and to partners for the rest of the build, and the home is installed in about 15 weeks: one connected chain instead of a string of hand-offs.
“We don't build for the market. We build for people.” For every villa sold, Silva commits to sustainable housing for a family in need.
